Quilt Maple
There is something very magical about 5A (the highest grade) quilt maple. It is very difficult to describe, and hopefully, some of these photographs do at least, partial justice to the beauty and mystery of this amazing natural resource. This material is outrageously expensive, but the price will seem a small consideration when you gaze at the holographic three dimensional waves of wonder that surround your Jaros guitar. You will simply not find a better tone wood for performance or appearance, and that’s why you’ll find it on every guitar we make. And you can choose from a wide variety of colors that will make your electric guitar a true work of art.
Ebony and Rosewood Fingerboards
Throughout history, no two types of wood have been more strongly associated with high quality musical instruments than have ebony and rosewood. Ebony is legendary as the source for the distinctive rich, deep hue of the black keys of high end pianos. While rosewood represents what many believe to be the pinnacle of tone woods for the body of an acoustic guitar. Some musicians will prefer the distinctive look, feel and sound of ebony, while others will prefer the humidity resistance of rosewood. While they differ in appearance, either represents a fabulous choice for your Jaros guitar fingerboard. You can choose either one on your guitar.
