High Grade Metal Accessories

There is no plastic visible on a Jaros guitar. Even the knobs, pickup covers, and accessories are made of gold or chrome-plated solid metal. Here’s a true story from Dave Weiler, President of Jaros Guitars: “Jaros Guitars had a small booth at the 2004 NAMM show in Nashville. Jim Jaros and I were manning the booth and Paul Reed Smith dropped by. Jim and Paul were old acquaintances and Paul had taken a few minutes out of his schedule to come over and say hi. While he was checking out one of our guitars, he complimented us on how much he like the feel of our controls as he turned the knobs. After a very pleasant and memorable visit (for me, at least), we thanked Paul for stopping by and he took off down the aisle. A few minutes later Jim turns to me and states in a very matter of fact way, “It’s the metal knobs. It may not be obvious, but they are heavier, and you can feel the difference.”
