Directly Coupled Pickups

Unlike many electric guitars, where the magnetic pickups are loosely suspended beneath the strings on plastic pickup rings, with a Jaros Guitar the custom premium magnetic pickups (your choice of Seymour Duncan or WCR) are directly bolted to the neck tenon and body of the guitar in a process called direct coupling. In this process, where the key components of the guitar are tightly connected, the stability and internal cohesion of the instrument is dramatically improved -- enhancing tone, resonance, attack, and sustain. As a purely cosmetic side benefit of direct coupling, we can avoid pickup rings entirely, resulting in a cleaner, more distinctive look on the front of the guitar while displaying more of the beautiful quilted maple.
